If you think about it, this is as close to a balanced legal battle as
you can get. Obviously, both sides have adequate financial means to
advance their arguments without worrying about what it will cost them.
This is actually the way that our system of jurisprudence is ideally supposed to work. The party with the strongest legal position will prevail.

Again with the simplistic view of the free market and human behavior!

If I were one of the best, brightest and most experienced at my specialty, perhaps I would try to make the most money. Or I might try to work where I think I might do the most good. For many people, that would be the government.

Besdies, as I pointed out in an earlier post which I guess you missed, the most money often goes to those who have done a stint in the government.

Perhaps you miss the point when you ask whether you would rather work for government wages or for free market wages.

The point is the high-profile exposure this guy will get in this very interesting case. His business will benefit whether he wins or loses, and it will go sky-high if he wins.

What do you think the OJ Simpson case did for Johnny Cochran's career?
