The US is a very resilient country....I am not sure we would be able to withstand 8 years of Hillary following 8 years of the worst president in my lifetime, namely, Obozo, the Clown POTUS, but I would not count us out...

TG, this part of your post needs to be highlighted: They are the conformists and everyone must be an "A-Like" and yet they still believe they are progressive. This needs to be emphasized. The so-called "progressives," the ones who think they can change the world with their "progressivism" and activism, are nothing more than conforming puppets who can be led by anything as long as they feel like they're making a difference. All you need to do as a left-wing puppeteer is to do the following: 1) Appeal to their emotions. 2) Bring up the usual tales of "rich white men" controlling everything (the one percent, the Koch brothers, etc.) 3) Promise "hopey changey" in exchange for more government control. Voila, a recipe for advancing both your political career and the cause for big government. Tenchusatsu
