Strategic Investing???

Unfortunately S.I. has become an investors scandal sheet..
I have read it since it started and it has REALLY gone down hill in recent years.

The latest issue Dec 17 is all scandals...

James Davidson, is one of those people who will predict doom forever and talk about the risks in the market and then try to get you to buy $3.00 stocks he has big positons in...

He is one of those guys who will take claim for a prediciton he made 5 years ago, when he was predicting it for 6 -8 months later, and then say I told you so..

He needs to be tar and feather..

I do still enjoy a few of the writers in S.I. But not Davidson

Regards
Don

Rich: Re: Japanese savings

I read an article in which an analyst also mentioned that much of the tax savings in Japan would end up in "savings". That (in an apparent perverse sense) is seen as a negative, or not stimulating the economy. Think about that for a while, better to spend than to save. I can fully understand what they are talking about, but there is something not right about that concept. The nation will be rewarded by reckless spending, punished by cautious savings. Is this a "Western" idea or does this notion prevail world-wide? No wonder we are in a credit and economic crunch world-wide.

As a scareholder of some gold stocks, I would not presume to give any advice about any stock, as my record is dismal. But I haven't sold yet!

Cheers:
Phil

p.s. many people have been uneasy about the markets et all for a long time, but as D.G. says, how long can they be wrong? However......

To reply to D.G., I would say, just because a guy is paranoid, doesn't mean somebody isn't after him!
