Food stamps should be for food, exclusively, growing up they seemed
to work that way.....I believe if my memory is correct you couldn't buy
cigs with them.

Unions are in unique position since globalization, while Federal Unions
have more sway is they can't be globalized.

Totally agree on the police....except for the voting bit, voting your own in
only helps if the elected fight the institution that is in place. Baltimore Mayor
became part of the program, it didn't appear to me that until the Freddie Gray
death did anyone want to change anything.....and that's America in a nutshell.

As for tax money if we had elected officials that worked for the people instead
of holding their corporate position maybe things might change. Having lower taxes
might help in curing the corruption and cronyism, but we need leadership more
than lower taxes.

I agree government shouldn't create wealth, but I don't see it as a hindrance,
regulations and oversight are needed.

Fixes are they coming, or only a thought?

I think corporate income tax rates should be zero. If that happened, I'd put all of my money into a corporation.

It would be just like an unlimited IRA without income limits on contributions. All of my income would be tax-free, except for the small portion I spend.

But the amount of money I would need to spend would be very limited, of course, because I'd drive a company car and live in a corporate-owned home provided to me as CEO of my corporation. My corporation would probably want to provide me with business meals and entertainment as well.

If I became a tax-free corporation, I'd even be willing to close my bank account in Australia and my bank account in Europe and bring that money home where it belongs, helping me.

Making corporate income tax rates zero would be revenue neutral if we eliminated just 42% of Medicare and Social Security benefits.

That way Saudi investors in US corporations would no longer have to contribute to the US government, which is especially unfair since they don't live here even though their corporations do.
