That's because when they watch Fox 'News', all they see is cleavage!

Study: Male Viewers Find Sexy News Anchors Distracting
Men watching a news broadcast are more likely to pay attention if a sexy anchor is delivering the day's stories. Just what they're captivated by, however, is another matter entirely.

According to a new study from researchers at Indiana University, male viewers snap to attention at the sight of a female anchor they find attractive, but are distracted by her looks and therefore less likely to remember what she had to say.

In other words? "Men might want to reread the story in the newspaper," Maria Elizabeth Rabe, one of the study's authors, told AOL News in a phone interview.

Male viewers are riveted by the sight of a news anchorwoman they find attractive, but may not remember what she said, according to a new study.
Rabe and her colleague Leila Samson wanted to see how sexy anchors affect men's ability to retain the actual news, so they devised an experiment in which they asked hundreds of them to watch the same 24-year-old anchor deliver a broadcast twice -- once dressed in modest attire and another time in something more revealing, complete with jewelry, makeup and cleavage.

The study, published online in the journal Communication Research, found that men were more likely to closely watch the sexy anchors but less likely to remember what they said. So networks that hire attractive news anchors may get higher ratings but have less-informed male viewers as a result.

It’s the Warming That Makes It So Cold by BFH • 05/22/2015 • 0 Comments
This Memorial Day I will reminisce about the days when it wasn’t so cold in May, you know, before all this warming.

Daily Mail

The unofficial start to summer will be marred in parts of the Northeast thanks to some unseasonably cold weather predicted for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

Frosty conditions are expected to descend into the states from Canada on Friday night, with temperatures dropping into the 20s in parts of Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

The chill spells ruin not only for traditional Memorial Day barbecues but also gardens freshly planted for spring.

Memorial Day on ice? Canadian cold snap will bring frost to the Northeast and send temperatures plunging into the 20s... but thankfully it's not here to stay
  • Major cities on the East Coast like Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington are likely to escape the coldest blast - with lows in the 50s
  • Coldest air will come Friday as temperatures drop into the 40s in major cities and the 20s and 30s in some inland parts of Pennsylvania, New York and New England
  • Temperatures will rebound for Memorial Day with highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s across the Northeast

The good news in that Friday is likely to be the coldest day. Temperatures will rebound by Memorial Day into the 60s and 70s across the region.

The chill spells could ruin not just Memorial Day weekend barbecues but also gardens freshly planted for spring.

Freezing weather is forecast in parts of the Northeast as the Memorial Day weekend kicks off on Friday

Temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit in the Northeast is very unusual for this time of year

The more populated coastal cities of Washington, DC; Baltimore; New York and Boston should escape the surprise frost bite, with temperatures only expected to reach lows in the 40s.

And temperatures are expected to warm across the region as the weekend progresses.

The frost is coming unusually late in the year for the Northeast, and experts say that this is likely to be the last freeze until fall for the region from Pennsylvania southward.

'If it clears out during the last weekend of May, there could be another frost across the interior of New York to northern New England,' Long-range forecaster Paul Pastelok said on Accuweather.

'However, that frost threat does not look to be as widespread as this Saturday morning.'

Showers and storms are expected in Texas, Louisiana, the Plains and the inter-Mountain region on Friday

On Saturday, rainy weather could send barbecue parties indoors in the Pacific Northwest

On Sunday, the weather across the country is expected to warm on the whole, adding to the risk of widespread thunderstorms

The weekend will finish out with the possibility of storms and rain showers in the Midwest and Northeast as a warm front moves in

While the Northeast may face cooler-than-usual weather, it will at least escape much of the storms and showers expected in other parts of the country.

On Friday, the chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast in Louisiana, Texas, the central plains and inter-mountain west, with the possibility of flooding in the southern Plains.

The Pacific Northwest could also receive some showers on Saturday.

On Sunday, the weather will warm up across the nation, with the chance of rain in the western Great Lakes region to the Mississippi Valley and west into the Plains.

But showers and storms could finish out the holiday weekend on Monday in the Northeast, as a warm front moves into the Midwest and Northweast.

Why do you stop at FOXNEWS in your conclusion from that dopey graph? Are you a partisan hack?

Your graph proves that there is no reason to watch CNN or MSNBC, as long as your viewers watch the Daily Show or listen to NPR. In fact you learn as much about domestic policy from watching nothing.

I would really like to see what these people know about the world, especially if they are as ignorant and twisted as the 7 or 8 braindead liberals on this thread.

People who watch no news at all know as much at viewers of CNN and MSNBC,

Yes...........this is a very valid study.

    DUH..............DUH................DUH

total bullshit the payer of that "poll" wanted a certain result.

If a question was what caused Benghazia a terror attack or movie FOX viewers would have got the right answer.

Viewers of those others would have answered Who's Ben Ghazia.

have any of those other propaganda centers talk about Hillary's deleting 1000 times more info than 17 minutes of tape ?

do they know about the Clinton Crime Fund ? Hillary shaking down world leaders for money as sec of state ? what was Blumenthal doing making business contacts in Libya while Hillary was sec of state, Hillary's business dealings in africa as sec of state ? fox viewers know about these
