Thean...I'm also flying up to the Northwest [Portland] this afternoon and will be out of touch until next week. I agree, that this has been the proverbial blood in the streets scenerio, and have taken advantage to stock up for the new year...Unfortunately, now that my principle is invested..it's like going on a vacation without enough cash...the opportunities abound, but I'm pretty much stuck enjoying the scenery..
[and the scenery ain't too beautiful around here lately!]
Have a good weekend all.....

Mkt reality: we're forming a bottom (just leading the cheers!)

bw- what do you know about CSCO that makes you want to go short other than what's already out there? Just curious?

Thean,

I believe the sector has suffered both technical damage and fundamental damage. Many have violate 200 dma support. and a warm winter, low crude, particular low natural gas price only make the picture worse. P Engr's assessment is on target. Still lots of profit in this sector not being taken yet - those invested year ago or so, they may be shaken enough to decide to get out. I see things will turn uglier before better. We may not see same Jan/Feb recovery as we hope for.
