Maybe, Photoshop is an except. However, photoshop need RAM not FPU to speed up

You are right aboutt Photoshop. Whenever your physical memory is less than Photoshop needs to manipulate the images, all advantages of fast FPU are only academic. BTW, you usually need 64 Megs to get just to get going.

The good news for graphics profesionals is that memory is cheep these days.

It will be good for games. The kids that are getting the GXm systems for their bedrooms will be playing a lot of games. They will be ridiculed by their friends if the games do not perform. When they grow up, they will remember their embarassment and not buy another Cyrix machine. But, with the new enhancements, this may not be a problem.
