Reg -

Justin, who is not lying?

Me, for one. Not only am I not lying, I refuse to try to validate lies or buy products from companies that lie. Maybe it's my upbringing, but the concept is appalling. Apparently you can't say the same thing, but that's your deal - whatever.

I remember being taught this as a child. Yes, my father is a Marine.

I will not lie, cheat or steal, and I will not tolerate those who do.

Reg,

"Justin, who is not lying? Let's be realistic! This attachment of morals to business is naive at best."

You seem to accept lying with a devil-may-care attitude. Is it something that you practice or is it more of a hobby? Justin isn't naive he just isn't used to maintaining a debate with moral-less souls. Of course, true Capitalism does not rely on moral-less and corrupt business practices; its the market that decides; so why the need to lie in court? It seems as though Microsoft is yellowing the pure white snow of Capitalism; maybe that's what got the Feds all worked up, eh.

Which is it Reg, a lack or morals or superior products that is selling Windows nowadays? (depending on the salesmen it could be both)

Cheers,

Norm

This is over the line.
Say what you want about morals in business and do what you want out in the market place, but you don't lie to the Court and you don't lie to the United States of America. It's unamerican and it will get you in BIG trouble, far bigger trouble than it's worth.

I have complete confidence that Microsoft knows this. They may see the truth in their own, shall we say, unique way, but I can't imagine Microsoft would ever be so stupid as to outright lie to the Court and the United States of America.

And how dare you accuse your beloved Microsoft of behaving in this way. I thought you said they were ethical. ;)
