Lines are just lines connecting past support and resistance levels.
Interesting chart... what makes those two lines valid???
They are "valid" because they fit the past data.
In other words, in way way does it truly measure what it claims to measure??? This is not a challenge of you but a challenge of the legitimate validity of the placement of those lines... who says those are what those lines claim to represent and how was that empirically determined? TIA
That doesn't mean they predict the future... but you can use them to see where the market will go if it follows past trends for growth.

Also, since they are log, a constant growth rate is a straight line.
