Well, now that Tabernacles is mentioned, maybe that is what Pat was talking about instead of Trumpets.

How about a quick study of the feasts as they might line up now with what we know must come to pass? Does anyone have a basic knowledge right off?

><>...Carol, you are correct...><>

The last trumpet does in fact herald in the coming of our Lord. It is at that time that he will set up His millennium Kingdom here on earth.

Rev 11:15-18
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

And also consider very carefully
1 Cor 15:51-58
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,...(It is important to note all)

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed
(Changed to what?)...Changed to a spiritual body because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality....
(corruptible= flesh. Flesh is decrepid and decayable, it gets diseased and old.... incorruption= spirit. It is not decrepid and or decayable, it does not get old and diseased.
mortal Strongs # 2349=thnetos= liable to die....
So this mortal (a soul liable to die must put on
immortality Strongs # 110 ( not liable to die, deathlessness).

54 So when this corruptible (flesh) shall have put on incorruption,(spirit) and this mortal (a soul liable to die) shall have put on immortality,( a soul not liable to die anymore) then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

In conclusion; At the 7th trump our Lord Jesus returns to begin His 1000 year reign on earth. At his return we are all changed into a spirit body. And the millennium begins. The millennium is a time of discipline, a time of truths, and all who may have been mislead and or deceived by satan will be taught the truth once and for all. See Ez.44. This is why satan will be cast into the bottomless pit during the 1000 yr. reign of Christ. Then at the end of the 1000 yr. reign he will again be let loose, to see who he may deceive again.
Rev 20:3
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season</b

It will be at this time, after the disciplining and teaching, and before the judgment seat of Christ, that he will be allowed to go about again to see who he might deceive.

Then the judgment seat of Christ takes place,( when the entire world is judged at one time) and all those who were deceived this time by satan will be cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the second death is of the soul, the first having been the death of the flesh.

Rev 21:7-8
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

As to your mention of the Feast of Trumpets coming before the Feast of Tabernacles, that is correct, but has nothing at all to do with the Trumpets spoken of in Revelations.
The Trumpets in Revelations signify action of God briging this world age to a close.

Hope this helps
Have a good weekend
