Gene: You wrote: " Do you have better ones". WDC had a large block trade on it crossed by Goldman Sachs. This usually is a good sign. You can also look at removable hard drive companies such as SYQT, IOM, etc. IOM had large block trades on it by several houses. SYQT is only $3 and is rated as a speculative buy. They have excellent products and in my opinion better than IOM's. I like also as speculative buys CPX and PQT. Both are in the $1 to $2 range. I use only 5% of my portfolio on speculative buys. Hello Gene, even if it's off the topic of the Borland tread, I like to drop another idea related to your drive assumption. Even when the NC is taking off, which I personaly see as a great and logical next step into a networked world, I don't think that must be without any harddisk. Sure, there is no need to maintain all the programs. But what is hapen with those data? How about a multi giga hard drive to temporarily store your video, someone has downloaded from Disney or Warner Brothers?
