No trades for me of late. Just holding the GHM I bought a few weeks ago and rest cash. Waiting for some volatility to enter TGA, BNKJF. Similar strategy for NRIFF. Also hoping to enter DDC ~$11 or half stated book. Waiting (and anticipate to continue to wait) for appropriate entry point on short positions of VRX, AGN.

Glad you are having success with the GN approach. On my reread of Intelligent Investor yesterday I realized it was introduced here, since I didn't recall anything of the sort in SA. I like it but I have personally been finding the deadly combo of goodwill/ leveraged earnings tends to limit its usefulness at least for the companies I screen. It seems to work best for mid to large cap companies with straightforward capitalization and reasonably dependable earnings. For me I usually start with NCAV or EV/ EBITDA. Come to think of it I do think a GN screen turned up GHM after we had that discussion a month or two back.

FWIW, my screen turned up the following supposed net nets which I hope to plow through today:

MTGRY/ Mount Gibson
LTONY/ MNC Media Investment
TWMC
WILC
TATT
GENC
BUI/ Buhler Industries
DMXTY
FUAIY
CEDWY

I haven't had a chance to look through your last post but I will try and contribute something of interest. For now I'll just keep hoping Jim Cramer keeps advocating not buying the dips. I read somewhere yesterday that Americans have >40% of their assets in stocks, highest since 2007/ 2000. Wake me up when the S&P rolls over 5% on a Friday.

Keep the ideas flowing,
Graham
