Hi Bernie, It must be the week for tiny companies! I didn't get a Sell this week in my STKLF (which has a small gold holding, by coincidence) but it fluttered right around my order for two days. I bought shares back at $1.125 a few weeks ago and it touched $1.8125 briefly this week. My order is in at $1.75 but the Bid side never got there.

It's so rare that I ever sell out of anything, that the sale of VGPMX is noteworthy. It's not that I don't like it, but since I had a loss that was usable, I thought of the switch to FGLDX as a nice way to achieve the tax loss and also stay with gold at what appears to be a very nice low price.

One of the semiconductor cos was making lots of noise about improved performance if they switched from aluminum to copper in their connectors. Well, Move Over Copper! Gold works better yet. If the price gets low enough, the price/performance might get gold off the fingers (belly buttons, noses, eyebrows, multiple ear punctures, nipples, etc.!!!) and into the industrial world again!!!

Being able to stay with the photography and give up the day to day stuff sounds like a great way to head for retirement. I have often thought of being in the "car business" in some fashion, but always felt it would wreck my joy of the hobby part. BTW, if I hadn't fallen in love with cars first, I'd be a photo bug for sure. It's my second favorite hobby. My favorite camera is my ancient twin lens Roli (120 film is getting hard to find) and next is my old Minolta SRT. My daughter refers to my SRT as a "stick shift"!

If you head for Steamboat Springs in Sept. you will get a chance to burn up some Kodak watching the Vintage Gran Prix there. Lots of beautiful cars to photograph. I use a mix of color and b&w film for vintage events. B&W seems to fit the character and time of vintage cars. ASA 100 to 200 is just about right for motion photos. Any faster film makes the cars look like they're parked!

Best regards, Tom

Paying for film processing?! You mean you didn't cover lifetime processing in the sale conditions, Bernie!! :-)

Nice job on AZC!!
