Oilfield Services/ Equipment has an industry rank of one at present. Halliburton has timeliness rank of 1 and safety rank of 3. One is the best and 5 is the worst. 52 week Hi: 63.25 and 52wk low 28.12 Beta 0.9 PE ratio: 27.9 Price stability 45 out of possible 100. Growth persistence 40/100; Earnings predictability 40/100 Technicals: Close 49.313 on 12-19-97. Price Peak in early Nov. Since then linear regression shows a downward slide. RSI is below 50. In order for you to be sure, if you wait until RSI goes above 50, an upward climb is more likely. Stochastics generated ?a buy signal Weak not corroborated by other signals. Chakin money flow is way below 0.(not good) MACD does not look good. Directional movement PDI-MDI= (minus 16) ADX 23 not good. The price at 49.313 is way below Wilder's smoothing (53.4) and pointing down - not good. There appears to be a Head and Shoulder formation with the right shoulder way below the left shoulder and the neck line is sloping to the right. Not good. Candle: A long lower shadow occurred - isolated, but not corroborated bullish sign near the oversold level. A spinning top shows very little price action. But three black candles occurred, indicating a bearish pattern Short tern neutral; Intermediate Bearish Long term Bullish. In all wait until more buy signals are generated.
