I so loved Mountain. Jam that I thought about painting a peach on the roof of my van.

I saw Freddie King with Albert King and ZZTop in about 72. We were just astonished leaving that place.

The Allman Bros at Fillmore East really wasn't what you'd call a jam. It was very well rehearsed. I have some bootlegs that have some of those tracks played in other venues and they are amazingly similar. I think the elvin Bishop track may have been a one off and I've never been sure about Stormy Monday with a harmonica solo. Never heard that other than on the Fillmore Concerts album, and never heard it performed live that way, either.
