I really think CSCO is a no brainer.Technically showing weakness and fundamentally bloated and the techs are oh so itchy right now.If this one warns it will fall big since it's a leaning tower right now.Remember pre-split it is still at $80 which is sky high. It's a long way down my friend.I have the Apr 50's and I'll add more if the stock moves to 55-60.This one's going bye-bye.GD

<<You've got to hate it when the oil companies start cheerleading for the drillers w/ statements like "we plan on spending more in Exploration this yr." OSX looks to be rounding the bottom nicely, preparing for the beginning of a leg up. I'm looking for a nice Mon in the drillers! Good Luck!>>

Ya got to love it when the cheerleader returns! Welcom back Luc.

From Lucretius Dec 18 -
<< In the future keep this crap off the board. If you want to discuss drillers, fine. However, personal attacks should be left to the school yard. We just got rid of one rather unpleasant fellow. I have and email address if you want to send hate mail.>>

Should I interpret your threat to get rid of me literally? Mmmmm...

No hate mail Lucretius, just facts. You are a cheerleader. Here are a couple of your cheerleading posts:

Dec 5 -
<< I'd be buying NE anywheere in between 33 and the previous low. I know that's a large range, but I think this is the place to start accumulation. Buy a little at 32 today. Buy some more maybe at 30 or 33 next week. You're not going to catch the "best price" so just accept it and start buying in. >>

Dec 12 -
<< I think it is time to buy at these levels.... Those waiting for NE to hit 26 or 27. I don't think it will happen. If it does, you may not want to own it>>

What do you think Lucretius? Want to own NE at 27 and change? I do. A whole lot better than 33 and change!

Dec 20 -
<<Jim, I'd take a look at NE, probably the best outlook for '98 and '99 among the stronger deep-water offshore drillers.

(Archie, I like you. You know seeds and turf grass, but you're a complete idiot when it comes to the drillers, so don't even try.)

You have such a way with words for your fellow board members Lucretius. You must think you are hot sh**. No, just sh**

Lucretius, while we are waiting for the Street (and the rest of the investing world) to figure out that Drillers will out perform the Market for the next two years (and let me plug our NE, expected to increase earnings 100% year over year) you might find some comfort in the fact that that smart ass Sickomore guy has lost over 40% in 2 weeks on the super-hype AIPN.

Hey, i'm not too happy watching our wicked under-valued stocks become even more more under-valued..... but i bought more and i have an order in to buy more NE (on margine for the first time).

Also, trying to decide between MAVK and EVI (you gotta divesify, right).

Not happy with the recent stock prices, but still wicked bullish for the next few years.

Lucretius,
I tried to find the post that someone made concerning Fidelity selling the oil drillers. They referenced the fact that Fidelity insured their profits by buying puts. I think I understand, but could someone please explain it again. Also, by selling off this way (covering with puts) what position are they in when they want to reenter.
Thanks,
Daniel
