Sorry I'm just now picking up your post. I just took off for a day to do Christmas stuff. I bought some more compaq today below 55. It was not the recent low but just thought things looked a lilttle more encouraging and I would add to my position. It's good to know people are also buying more expensive computers with INTEL inside since I own that stock too. Can't tell you who because I just heard it as I was leaving the house, but someone has said good things about compaq and intel (is that the WORST reportage you've heard on SI) and I guess that showed up today in the action. As a long term investor I'm feeling more confident about the market, at least as I look out a couple of years. Dumped two dogs today for tax loss purposes -- coms and bay. Held them over 18 months but they just didn't make it. Good riddance. Now I have real winners (I hope) cpq included!
