Why would anyone support Bernie Sanders? He is a Socialist. Socialism does not work. Eventually you run out of other peoples money.

zeta, it is in the press' interest to keep people's attentions on the elections as early as they can in the election cycle. So they will keep the issue of the Democratic nominee alive. It is easy to form an opinion on Hillary due to her wide name recognition. All others including those from the Republican side are lesser known. Nobody has been on the National scene as Hillary has; off course first lady of Arkansas, then First Lady of US, Senator etc. etc. But do you think she will order young men and women to war with the drop of a hat? Do you think if she had a pot of dollars she will allocate that to t he military or will she allocate that to welfare of women's issues and child issues etc. etc. She is a mother and a grandmother. We have a President who comes from the oppressed class and hence best understands the trials and tribulations of that class. If she succeeds him, then it would be nice to have a woman, the centerpiece of an American family and home and someone who best understands what it takes to raise a family in America.

I am aware that Bernie's message appeals to you similar to that of Robert Reich and perhaps even me. But haven't we been through this even with Obama? These candidates promise the sky during campaign, but our system is set up such, a President singlehandedly cannot do what s/he promises during the campaign. Or else why would we still have Gitmo open. And a President can to a large extent (66 %) prevent something that is bad for us to happen by using the veto pen. And Hillary will surely not hesitate to do so when it needs to be done. She has demonstrated that on many occasions. So it is not about what s/he says, but it is about what they do or have done.
