Here's something interesting I pulled off the QCOM thread:

"By 2002, the leading markets in the Asia-Pacific are projected to remain Japan, China, and South Korea, with the gap between Japan and China becoming increasingly smaller."

China currently represents 18% of worldwide cellular subscribers while Japan is 50%. This looks good for CELL, because of their strong relationship with the Chinese Gov.
