Clinton may not need to cause he doesnt underestimate the potential of Asia to come back on strong and the future prospects of US multinationals feeding off on its market. It only seems contradictory to me that how could one have such a positve view on INTC while at the same time think the Asian economy is not able to self-salvage. 20 years down the road, Asia is where the biggest money's going to be. If every mainland Chinese takes one hot piss (forgive me for the analogy), it is going to drown Taiwan. Take a count of Pentium chip for that and you will see INTC going back to its old glory.

Long INTC.

BTW. I am seeing a nice rise of INTC on MON and next week in general to mid-70. Am I being to optimistic over the short-term?

Yaacov - Re: "Do you think United States will get invloved
in helping out some of these countries!!"

I assume that the U.S. is actively working with the IMF on Korea's bail out plan.

Isn't it nice that foreign countries can go bankrupt and the U.S. helps bail them out. The U.S. is commited to international WELFARE as well as the home grown kind!

I'm sure when the U.S gets in deep trouble - like in the late 80's - all our friends in Japan and Korea will pop over here to buy our golf courses, movie companies, and skyscraper business buildings for themselves while we suffer in agony.
