Spot on.

The machine has spun the word "socialism" into a complete term of misinformation and emotion. The same as "communism." One and the same.

The US is a mixture of socialism and free markets -- they can't deal with reality though they enjoy the benefits daily in total blindness or ignorance.

Socialism makes this country stronger.

We are a regulated form of capitalism. It often sucks, but its the best alternative.

Citizen's United is an attempt to capture the government and regulation for profit and power - truly against America's enlightened interest, dynamism, and health.

I'm not sure any of those countries is technically "socialist."

However, it appears you're making the same mistake you've made with global warming, in that you have assumed that a strong correlation between "happiness" and high taxes implies that high taxes are the cause of the happiness. That, of course, is a fundamentally erroneous conclusion.

The important point is that Sanders' philosophy -- and yours, I suppose -- would put government, which can't manage anything at all, in charge of a vastly larger portion of the economy.

In tiny little countries -- like the Nordic countries -- government isn't the bureaucratic sludge it is here. Walmart could administer these countries without a blip.

We have seen, over the last 7 years, what happens when you install an absolute idiot in the White House.
