Pioneer Oil-fridays news-contract Im sure you die hard olex followers have heard of these guys, on friday piol was the first US firm to receive a huge govt exploration contract from Gabon in a french dominated market. In addition Piol due to recent litigation with unical and mobil in regards to a loaded land sale that left piol with an expensive clean up charge filed for ch. 11 protection back in feb 97, until Mobil case is heard this year, status looks good for ch 11 exit and in addition to fridays exploration award a significant damage awardin the mobil case will pop this baby like youve never seen. If you saw the recent award that lots corp. got from chase manhattan and what it did to the stock you can see what i mean. For beautiful speculation its worth a stab and cheaper than olex. there are only around 2000 shareholders of piol and this one tends to move faster than olex. thar
