Some random firings on recent thread topics. First, re the slow Tyson's--Redskins games are the best time to shop in the area because all the stores are empty, no reflection on RAIN. Second, Dylan made the almost offhand comment that RAIN goes down on opening announcement days. I had generally decided that these were just coincidence rather than cause and effect. It cant be "buy the rumor, sell the news"? Any thoughts?

Dennis,

Well-written and interesting essay. I give you an A. Guess we have to wait and see how exactly all will pan out.

FWIW, it likes like there was mention of a new hotel by way of mgm and marriott in the planning stages to go on the property of the mgm grand...don't remember how many rooms..but I think it was 1400-1500, so more potential clientele on the premises. Also, it looks like in advance of needing to be an owner in time to be in on the split there should be some positive support, even though wanting in on the split is purely psychological unless you're a trader.

Talk to you later,

Marshall
