I want someone to BALANCE our U.S. budgets.... The only way this is going to happen is with massive cuts to entitlements -- SS, Medicare, and Obamacare. Because they are what causes the problem. And as you're aware, NO POLITICIAN is going to allow that to happen. The belief that it can be done with tax increases is absurd and I think you know that. The LAST President that actually BALANCED a budget was Bill Clinton. But you understand, I know, that mere presence in the White House doesn't make you responsible for what happened. Some people may blame you (as the Left did Bush for the 2008 economic crash). In the case of the almost balanced budget, to be fair it did come close one year. But that was possible only because of the peace dividend that came about because of Reagan's military buildup, which was essentially 1/3 of it. Another 1/3 was the Republicans forcing Clinton to the table to get rid of some components of the welfare state. Clinton did have the good sense to sign the legislation, which agreeably, the current president lacks. There really is no way to get what you want without electing someone who will cut entitlements and I'm not quite sure who that would be other than maybe Trump, Cruz or Fiorina, and I'd wager you won't be voting for any of those guys...
