Dave, thanks for looking at UCOR and MLOG for me. UCOR, I don't understand as the fundamentals and the chart do not match.

From your scans:

BAMM - Book A Million
They are in the process of expanding by building new superstores, 25 new ones in fiscal 97 and more coming in 98. These new stores are
reflected in the growth in net sales but the costs are cutting into the earnings. Robinson Humphrey rated BAMM a buy on 12/5 but a major broker rated them a sell on 12/11. As for most retailers, the holiday season represents the strongest quarter for BAMM. Don't see
any compelling reason to buy this one.

BGR is Maine's second largest electrical utility. They are part owners of Maine Yankee Nuclear plant and may be liable for monetary penalties . Maine Yankee has been shut down and the co. is paying $1 mil per month for replacement energy costs. I'd pass on BGR.

CINE has received a buyout offer of $2.52/share and there is a stockholders meeting 12/23 to vote on the proposal. Seems fully valued right now.

FAXX provides business to business fax services. Co. is still in the red with their business plan. To tell the truth, I don't understand their business plan, so I pass on this one.

FOLNA is the famous Food Lion. There are 20 firms offering coverage on Food Lion. Two have issued buy ratings last week. Some management changes, sale of some stores and rumors of a buyout are attracting interest.

the rest of the list later today.

Sergio

Dave:

SRGE is a Nasdaq small cap.
I also like ROMT at 2 1/4 (on the downside).
Let's keep in touch on Monday (if you're around) vis NVAL and ROMT and SRGE.
