Over the course of Bush's 8 years we spent a total of about a trillion dollars on war

It was $1.2 trillion and it did not do the citizens of this country one bit of good unlike all the benefits gained from Obamacare and Medicare. In fact the two wars have left to many Americans suffering missing limbs and psychological problems.

You can state that deficit spending is not affected because of the military but….military was the largest component under both Obomber and Bush

The Bush administration estimated the war would cost $50 to $60 billion, including the costs of reconstruction and clean up.
