It's worse than that. I've had 3 EVGA 960 graphics cards and they are all the same.

The DVI output when connected to a VGA adapter or with a DVI/VGA cable only outputs one color. Even the boot text isn't white.

I've had 2 green ones and one blue one. The HDMI plug on the graphics card outputs full color, however all of the resolutions are too big or too small for all my monitors or TVs. Two different EVGA cards from the 700 series I have don't have any of these problems.

I may never buy an EVGA graphics card again, but I'm waiting on an HDMI/VGA cable in the mail to see if that works.

My son only has VGA monitors, but he does have a TV with an HDMI input.

Can anyone tell me if there's a difference between these two cables.

I've ordered both of them and both ship from China so delivery will be slow.
