Willie, IBD article

Man, I don't see anything in the article that could be seen as positive for the companies mentioned over the next few months. It even suggests that this is the beginning of a bear market, when quality stocks such as these cannot breakout. The "kingpins" will drag the entire market with them, down that is.

I'm LONG on intc but would like to avoid some downside if possible. Of course intc will make money over the long term but the stock price is going to suffer in the short term.

How long does the product transition usually take before earnings kick in ??? I'm new to this type of investing and have a lot to learn.
