Ken, Windows 10 updates are automatic, Windows also defrags the hard disk over time. There's little left for you to do. I'd click on settings and become familiar. Especially "update and security". I left most settings at default.

I like the automatic features and only use Malwarebytes Pro in addition to what MS provides [and sometimes spybot]

Stopped using registry cleaners over a year ago.
