<< when 1997 is fully reported in late January, then we can get a good feel for MRVC's growth rate. >>

Thank you and many other posters who have given out many high quality answers to my original questions. Really appreciate. I agree with you that it may be a good idea to see their numbers in January before making a decision to start a long term position. Besides, although it did rebound with others on Friday, the stock does not clearly see a bottom yet. It might actually has bottomed out here, but just don't have enough signs yet.

Their fiber optic business:

Is this kind of U.S. Sprint vs AT&T thing ? How promising and how popular will be the use of fibre optics in the internet data transmission ?

sector.....imo .....I believe the fourth quarter may show that their margins are declining........the ramp up of doubling their sales force has to start affecting their expenses.....its not cheap to double and train your work force........hopefully as noam stated in the conference call that some of the increase in the sales force is already adding revenue to the company.....he said that I believe around October 25 or so and I think he was talking about what was happening then....so everyone is trying to determine what affect this is going to have on EXPENSES...............with the new gig switch hitting the market....sales should top....50 million but earnings should also slow down due to the secondary and the increases in "expenses"........just my musings...cmg
