The dual kidney front grill gives it away, but I've seen that car also.

What I like is you don't have the same range anxiety as an all electric.
bmw.com

If you saw the car and if you've seen as many Tesla's as I've seen... it was pretty obvious this was another.

Besides, who else would be driving a crossover (SUV/Auto) with all the emblems and letters covered 1/4 miles from Tesla's HQ. It was clearly not a BMW which also has R&D nearby...

I believe it also had the Tesla door handles... which you can't cover up if you want to get in and out of the car!

You know I wrote an article about why I thought BMW would be a better investment than Tesla some time ago...
Tesla was $260... the same as today!

I saw a real one last week while driving home on San Antonio Road near El Camino after windsurfing. My guess it was driven by a Googler heading home for the weekend. It is a beautiful car but it competes more with the 2015 Corvette than the 2015 Tesla since it doesn't look to have a usable back seat.

Usable for me means my girlfriend's mother (disabled with back pain) can get in and out of the front seat and my girlfriend can get out of the back seat EASILY, thus replacing my X3 in the garage. Also, if they can't see easily over the front hood, a big issue with my old Corvette, then that kills the deal too.
