Humble apologies to Rachmiel Frydland: Although our Christian brother, Rachmiel Frydland is dead and unable to defend his words, I feel he deserves a humble apology as well as a correction of a former statement I made about him. I read a book by Rachmiel many years back and basically approved of his tactics in his Chritian mission to the Jewish people. This is what prompted me to return to his website and carefully reread his essay. When someone posted an URL to his Website, I read Rachmiel statement on "WHEN THE TALMUD WAS RIGHT". He began his essay with the following profoundly false statement about the Talmud:The Talmud, oral discussions and instructions relating to Holy Writ, is supported in its conclusions and interpretations by the written Word of God , the Torah, or by hoary tradition.</" The Babylonian Talmud cannot be "supported" by the Word of God as Rachmiel said. This was a horribly false statement by Rachmiel. I further noted that Rachmiel neglected to mention the many vile and antichrist statement contained in the Talmud. At the time I considered this a grave oversight. After carefully rereading and praying and reflecting on his essay, I believe that Rachmiel's intentions in writing were focused on the salvation of his Jewish audience and not an accurate and detailed exposure of the Babylonian Talmud. Although I still consider his statement about the Talmud being supported by the Holy Scriptures (he Torah) both false and deceitful, I believe that the spirit and intent of the essay as a whole was a vehicle for the conversion of the Jewish people. The Holy Spirit tells us through the writings of Paul to be all things to all people so some can be saved--a Jew to the Jews and a Greek to the Greeks, etc.I now believe that this was Rachmiel overall intentions in his essay and feel that I must humbly apologize and repent for saying that 'Rachmiel pretends to be a Christians' and also calling him 'a deceiver'. Rachmiel was a Christian and he was not a deceiver. I feel the apology and correction are necessary because I do not believe either was the focus of his heart although the error I pointed out is serious and needed pointing out. My judgment of his motives was my sin. The Holy Spirit moved on my heart to make this apology. Please do not contrue this apology and repentance as an apology and repentance for accurately exposing the teachings of the Babylonian Talmud and accurately exposing of modern Judaism as an antichirst religion. I reproduce the URL to Rachmiel site as well as the words I considered false in his essay. WHEN THE TALMUD WAS RIGHT by Rachmiel Frydland Let there be no misunderstanding. We do not believe that the TALMUD is inspired by the RUACH HA KODESH (the Holy Spirit of God), or that it is the Word of God. The Talmud does not claim to be the Word of God, but rather an interpretationand an explanation of the Law of God, the TORAH. The Talmud, oral discussions and instructions relating to Holy Writ, is supported in its conclusions and interpretations by the written Word of God , the Torah, or by hoary tradition. When neither was available, final decisions were suspended until there should arise again a prophet in Israel, or until Messiah, preceded by Elijah, would come. Then all doubtful and uncertain points which could not be decided previously would be settled. Work of Wise Men
