“What Atheism does, is free the Atheist from all objective moral constraints” LOL! It does nothing of the sort! Free thinkers ground their morality in objective reason and living conditions, based on objective principles of how humans must live to have safety, peace, happiness, and the cooperation of their fellow humans! The problem with Christians and others who embrace fantasy and superstition, is that THEY HAVE NO OBJECTIVE STANDARDS BY WHICH TO GROUND A MORAL CODE. Instead their “morality” is completely SUBJECTIVE--and derived from the perspective of a selfish, primitive, and immoral federation of superstitious tribes. There is nothing objective about using people as slaves. There is nothing objective about forcing women to drink a mixture of offal off the slaughterhouse floor to see if they live or die as a test of their fidelity! There is no objective morality in impregnating both your daughters and being called “Just” and “Righteous” by your imaginary tribal Commander in Chief! Genocide, rape, murder, and random acts of violence—only subjective immorality in those. Nothing subjective about hating and harming Jews—as Martin Luther led and exhorted the entire Protestant Movement to continue doing. Atheists have an infinite number of moral philosophies. But all of them generally acknowledge the caring that naturally accrues to families, groups, communities, and nations—not to mention “cultures”. Some atheists are like a lot of superstitious people. They may hold irrational morals and do irrational things. But that is not contested and speaks to none of your malicious and rather insane blubbering about free thinkers. As I said, and as the records prove…we are NOT in prison for a good reason! We are (as a group) far more moral than any other group. It is not a boast…but I surely am proud to be in such compassionate, caring, moral company. And I am also very glad not to be in the company of Communists, Christians, Islamics--or any of the other ideological groups--groups whom have no objective standards by which to ground any moral code. Groups which rely on the thinking of irrational people to justify their elitism and attacks on the good and the fine. I am truly blessed and lucky to ground my morality in objective reason and the facts of human existence in communities!! Nature is cold, bloody, and heartless. Humans were the same. But civilization and Reason has moved us to place our compassion, our love, our mutual needs and concerns for safety and survival, on a rational plain. It is a pity that you refuse to embrace civilization and reason...but obviously, your indoctrination and your fears of reality are deep-rooted.
