The trick in "predictions" is predicting. That is, doing it before the outcome is known. What we do know, historically, is since 1998 there has been no warming. Whether 2015 ends up being warmer I have no idea. You will have warmer years from time to time when the trend is generally toward warming. That doesn't mean it has anything at all to do with people or CO2. And in fact that is the reason Michael Mann just lopped the MWP out of his Hockey Stick graph. Because if it is shown that a warming period isn't unprecedented, then well, it is hard to conclude that CO2 has much to do with it, and there goes the federal money.

Furthermore, this year’s temperature to date is running hotter than 2014. How's about a whole lotta "who gives a shit?". Other than you and your eco-fascist brethren and some stupid GreenMexicans? Build another windmill and buy a Tesla and save the planet. Yada yada blah blah. Do you have a life, Ratty, other than going on and on about all this "global warming" BS? Pathetic.. Here's a good op-ed that pretty much nails it.. reviewjournal.com ...the EPA's own climate model predicts a temperature reduction of 15 thousandths of a degree by 2100 if Mr. Obama's entire climate change plan is realized. As a cost-benefit proposition, the Clean Power Plan fails miserably... Of course, in regards to CA's "global warming" induced drought, if the El Niño pattern that's now in place causes a really wet winter this year and massive snow pack in the Sierra, that will be because of "global warming" as well.
