Hi Linda,
The distribution took place Dec. 19, 1997.
If you are having your dividends reinvested you will now have more shares than you had on Dec. 18. If you are not having dividends reinvested you should have more money in your cash reserve. In any event you should take the amount per share and multiply it by the number of shares you had on 12/18 to determine the tax liability. This is a long term gain (28%) no matter when you bought your shares. Go to americancentury.com. Go down the right hand column till you see 1997 distributions and you will get a complete listing for all the American Century/Benham/20th Century funds.
