Teck teaming up with Goldcorp to develop copper mines!!

Unfortunately, it's in Chile.....another nail in the coffin for Schaft Creek?

On the contrary, the previous estimate for Teck to develop Relincho was $4.5B. Now at 50% of $3.5B for the joint venture, Teck's price tag is reduced to $1.75B.
If Relincho does go ahead (lots of hoops to get through yet) before Shaft Creek, this frees up $2.75B for other possible forward capital expenditures. A lot of if's to consider but I think it's very positive.
Perhaps Goldcorp would like a piece of Shaft Creek.
