Contrary to popular myth, the Tea Party wasn't formed because people hated democrats, it was formed because average (wage earning/tax paying) citizens were sick and tired of having blase' and ineffective republican candidates shoved down their throats. They were frustrated because none of their leaders listen to them, or took them seriously. They were revolting against their own party............not the democratic party. These so called (stodgy old, go along to get along) leaders are so insulated and out of touch they're just now realizing that fact? What a bunch of simple minded fools. I'm happy to see that people who thought they'd never share a political position with the dreaded TP are waking up. "I want to put the Republican leadership behind this mirror and let them see. They need to wake up. They don't realize how the grassroots have abandoned them," he added.
