>> And you don't even see how screwed up what you posted up above is.........like I said, there is sickness that pervades this group.

What "group"? "Gunowners?"

You think all gunowners are "sick"?

That itself sounds a bit sick to a rational person. Because "Gunowners" is not a logical, meaningful classification. I'm a gunowner but I haven't shot anyone. I even had a person come in my home after 2am one night and I didn't shoot him. Just asked him WTF he thought was doing? He was confused. (At the time we didn't lock our doors at night, because it wasn't necessary).

Most gunowners are not looking to shoot someone, although you might find that difficult to believe. In fact, the only gunowners who ARE looking to shoot someone are the people who the law will never, ever get the guns away from. And if they did, they would just buy another one from some crackhead.

I'm not sure why you can't see how stupid the argument is. Gunowners aren't the problem here. Guns aren't the problem. Criminals are the problem.

There are over 300 million guns in the US and more than 100 million gun owners. You can't do anything about that.

He's right about that. You could ban sale and manufacture today, and there will 299M in 100 years, plus 1 million destroyed in house fires.

It's stupid to try

Not about that. it's stupid to do nothing. At this point, best we can do is try to control who gets them, magazine size, where they are allowed, when you can legally shoot a person (Stand Your Ground), etc.

It's prolly more of a predicament than a problem.

“A problem calls for a solution; the only question is whether one can be found and made to work, and once this is done, the problem is solved. A predicament, by contrast, has no solution. Faced with a predicament, people come up with responses. Those responses may succeed, they may fail, or they may fall somewhere in between, but none of them “solves” the predicament, in the sense that none of them makes it go away.”

Why would you think that? I think the liberals hysterical about guns and thinking they can rid the country of them are screwed up.
