Timoteo, I haven't followed the INTC/CHPS affair. Your logic seems fine to me as long as you accept the proposition that the FTC will not interfere with the deal. It seems to me the market isn't so sure. What do you think the stock will do if the FTC rules against the merger. If there is enough volatility in the play, maybe maybe it would be worth while to buy both calls and puts. What do you think.
