I would make sure the "free space" on the drive where your document was deleted from is wiped, just to be on the safe side.

Interesting! I have no experience with overwriting the free space but will look into doing so. Maybe I am showing my ignorance here but if you overwrite free space with random numbers is that space still marked as free for other use or do you now have a drive with no free space????

Edit: Ccleaner has this feature with 1, 2 or 3 passes. Has anyone used it?

All my 240+ passwords are 12 random Alpha numeric characters.
<g> With those numbers a manager is definitely needed, but I've created less than 20 website accounts in my entire lifetime. :)
