All of this talk about AirPlay really has me interested. I'm not usually into gadgets but this one sounds like something I would enjoy. Where would be a good place for me to start with the learning curve, maybe before I even buy whatever I will need to make it all work? Needless to say, I already have the big screen HDTV.

Apple TV has never really caught on.

My Firestick has an AirPlay App so I can mirror from the iPad (or iPhone, I guess).

It really ought to be a no brainier - whatever streaming device is plugged into the tv streams off wifi, as does the tablet. Just need to have the devices talk to each other.
