A double edged sword I think. Delays to competitive approaches provide a vacuum which ACMI might fill that is the upside. But a general reluctance towards change probably hurts all players. It seems to me that ACMI will be successful no matter what the environment....but the rate of progress is the variable. An environment which encourages progress is probably the best environment for all the players. The best approaches will be determined soon enough and these approaches will be modified as experience is gained. Everything is tempered by the need for safety which need of course is higher here than in most situations.
