Do a Google image in US poor people in the 60s and 70s and today.
See how thin the military were up to Vietnam War.

Today's poor people are overfed. Can buy cars. and live in bigger and better homes.

When I see the photos of Curitiba (my city in Brazil) of old times, the houses were tiny wooden houses. today they are modern and with nice public transport.

All that is the result of capital invested productively.

Any major buildings that are imploded show how people use to live 50 years ago.

They could hardly hear a dial tone if not going to a coin box public phone. Today they all have mobile phones.
