#2 isn't a myth, its true. #3 might be exaggerated by some, and possibly the situation may have improved, but it isn't a myth. Number 5 isn't really addressed by your links response to it. Also its only a myth because its stated in the most extreme possible terms, a bit of a straw man. A more reasonable statement would be something along the lines that starvation and famine aren't problems in America, and that serious hunger is rare.
