They're ready to line up for a fascist strong man. I think Trump knows this too. I'm pretty sure it's not enough Americans to get him elected, unless the (D)'s just hand it to him, which is possible. I've been hanging out on the Trump thread, and some of the folks there seem to really WORSHIP Trump. Anything negative about him they just assume is a lie. They are DESPERATE for a hero to 'save America'.

What happened to the theory it is a band of racist from which Trump gets his support? I think in your thinking here you are giving the voters waaaaaaaaaay more credit than they deserve. The public doesn't think as deep as you claim here - not at this point in an election. You know; Occam's Razor theory. ...........You seem desperate to find a reason for Trumps success other than the most obvious. Which also explains some of Bernies success and Carsons success.
