It is wingnut gospel that scientists are incompetent.

Ben Franklin was recording ocean temperature data in the 1700s. That is how he was able to chart part of the Gulf Stream.

You didn't just say subs took temperature readings, you said climate researchers based their assertions that most warming is hiding in the deep ocean from sub readings. It just isn't true.
