"A militia is required in order to have a free state" doesn't even vaguely equal "the right to keep and bear arms is limited to a militia".
But it does require a militia to have a free state, not a bunch of gun waving nutcakes..............

The first clause is a statement about militias and free states, but not directly a statement about the right to keep and bear arms, and not at all about such right except to give a reason for it. Not the only reason, just the only one stated in the amendment, but even if it was the only one there is nothing in the phrase that in the English language limits the 2nd clause.
For such a simple statement , you sure are struggling to define it.......why not just let the phrase out and you would have the amendment you think you have.......?
