I don't mind suggestions for ideas. I learned what I did by Googling his name as I don't have 40 minutes spare time to watch a video without a good summary of what I'll learn from the video.

I employ the VC "elevator speech"metric.... if I can't get the new ideas by reading or watching something I could do while riding an elevator.... it is probably something I don't want to watch or read. I've found Googling people and reading the summaries for their recent work usually gives me a good idea what they are about.

A lot of these folks make a ton of money by being "futurists" and getting paid to tell those with excess cash to invest what they want to hear. Many use it to gain tax subsidies and other government "welfare for the rich" so they become raging success stories like Musk and anyone doing solar.

Just think how many invested in the oil patch with the idea they'd get rich from their reserves due to "peak oil".... all the books written about Hubbert's Peak.

The only long term solution is to reduce our dependence on cheap oil from the middle-East. This is an entirely feasible thing to do, however it will require serious concerted action on the part of government, industry, and the financial sector…
