..it is a point of fact that a gene has not been found.

True and inmates engage in gay sex because men are sexually driven creatures and will forgo their normal biases to achieve satisfaction.

Not sure they are "gay" - more like any port in a storm gay.

Al,
It matters significantly to gay people, since over the years they have considered as deviants or immoral and deprived of rights others enjoy.

I still don't think the matter over "choice" has to have any weight on whether they are considered "deviants or immoral." Society can accept the gay lifestyle without proving one way or another whether it was a "choice" to begin with. If it doesn't hurt anyone else, why deprive them of rights?

But I get your point on how offensive Ben Carson's remarks can be. It's not like most gay people were put into a situation where the only sex they could have is with people of the same gender.

They need to get over it.

If you're going to have sex with people of the same gender, there is a certain amount of deviancy that goes with that territory. While society may choose to accept as a norm, it isn't. And the process of survival of the fittest guarantees it will never be.

As long as government doesn't decide we're better off with only women, which is of course a possibility with cloning.

No one cares anymore. Really, no one gives a shit. So, just let it go. Homo. Straight. Tranny. No one cares. Screw who you want. Marry who you want. Whatever.

But the laws of nature are what they are and when you stop reproducing you're not contributing to the gene pool. My niece has five kids now, all adopted, and while she is a very happy gay 40 year old, not one of her kids has her genes. And they're not homosexual.

So, someone needs to explain how a genetic feature is carried on to an ever growing percentage of the population, because it doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense.
