This is the blind spot with some ID folks... they are so locked in on THEIR version of god that they can't see past the front of their nose: <<that design in nature is necessarily intelligent and that evolution is an “undirected process” incapable of producing design.">> Now to be fair "design" does seem to be a term that in our language takes intelligence... but of course we'd have to discuss what exactly is designed (the moon revolving around the earth?) and what isn't. BUT, the second part... that evolution evolution is incapable of producing design is obviously false, because... IT DOES! LOL It is the organisms that design themselves to fit the environment... DUH!!! As the earlier article clearly shows, information does pass down from generation to generation (duh, microorganisms have shown us that ability for decades)... and changes in one generation can and do change ensuing generations... we just don't know how it works yet.
